JOST Bicycle & Pedestrian Bridge
We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Jeffrey Open Space Trail (JOST) Bicycle & Pedestrian Bridge, now the longest in Irvine! This 1.5-mile extension over Interstate 5 completes the five-mile JOST trail, connecting our city from the stunning Pacific Ocean to the scenic Santa Ana Mountains and Cleveland National Forest. A huge thank you to our partners, including Caltrans and Congressman Dave Min, whose dedication and leadership — securing $14.5 million in state funding — made this visionary project possible.
Come explore this new landmark and enjoy Irvine’s vibrant outdoors!
