Center of Innovation & Entrepreneurship
We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming Irvine Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center at 510 Technology Drive. This new hub will support local startups, entrepreneurs, and investors, fueling innovation and economic growth in our community. A special thanks to Congressman Dave Min for securing $1 million in federal funding, alongside our private sector partners, to make this vision a reality.

8th Annual International Summer Mixer
We had a wonderful time at the 8th Annual International Summer Mixer hosted by the Los Angeles & Orange County Iranian American Chamber of Commerce, where business and community leaders came together for an evening of networking, cultural exchange, and collaboration. Thanks to the Chamber for organizing such a fantastic event that highlights Irvine’s vibrant and diverse business community — looking forward to many more connections ahead!
UCI Health Rehabilitation Hospital Grand Opening
We’re excited to celebrate the grand opening of the new UCI Health – Irvine Rehabilitation Hospital in the Irvine Business Complex, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to expanding access to specialized inpatient rehabilitation, advancing research, and enhancing medical training—all to better serve our community. Congratulations to the UCI Health team on this milestone that promises a healthier future for all!
Youth Edition of Mornings with the Mayor
We were thrilled to bring together students from all across the City for an inspiring discussion on leadership, civic engagement, and shaping our community’s future. Special thanks to Dr. Lindsey Pedroncelli and Laurie Menosky from UC South Coast Research & Cooperative Extension of Orange County for joining us and making our Seed Swap a fantastic success. Harvest Solutions Farm Volunteer Event
Thanks to the Irvine Korean Parents Association and dedicated volunteers at Second Harvest Food Bank’s Harvest Solutions Farm, we harvested over 12,000 pounds of fresh watermelon this Saturday. This effort supports nearly 300 food pantries across Orange County!
Second Harvest Food Bank is committed to providing dignified, equitable, and consistent access to nutritious food—working toward an Orange County where everyone experiences food and nutritional security. Together, we’re strengthening food security, nourishing our community, and ensuring that #WeFeedOC.
Irvine Chamber Grants Program
My City Council colleagues and I were proud to celebrate five organizations — Asian Business Association Orange County, Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, SCORE Orange County, Tech Coast Venture Network, and UC Irvine Foundation — each receiving a $10,000 Irvine Chamber Grant to boost economic growth, workforce development, and innovation in Irvine. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to the Greater Irvine Chamber for making this impactful program possible — together, we’re building a stronger, more vibrant community!
UC Irvine Men’s Basketball
Wishing the best of luck to Coach Russell Turner and the UC Irvine Men’s Basketball team as they represent the Anteaters at the 2026 William Jones Cup in Taiwan. We appreciate UC Irvine Athletics and the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce for hosting the media launch, and we’re proud to cheer them on as they compete on the international stage!
