QuickReads | Irvine in Full Bloom
Community First
Last week, I had the pleasure of connecting with residents and community leaders. Thank you to everyone who shared their time, energy, and ideas — your dedication makes Irvine a better place to call home!
2026 Taipei Computer Association (TCA)
I recently joined our Economic Development team to welcome the Taipei Computer Association Delegation. We extended a warm welcome to representatives from Foxconn, HiPower, Elite BioMedical, Richten Energy, and Askey! Over a two-day itinerary, our team focused on strengthening business relationships, encouraging local investment, and fostering new technology partnerships. These visits are vital in connecting our community with global innovators and opening up new opportunities for economic growth.
Daisy Chain Fields Festival
We’re thrilled to celebrate the debut of Daisy Chain Fields at the Great Park! The inaugural event brought our community together through music, creativity, and shared experiences — creating a day full of connection, inspiration, and joy.
We extend our sincere gratitude to C3 Presents, PSQ Productions, and City staff for their dedicated efforts behind the scenes, which made this memorable day possible. We hope all attendees enjoyed the moments of joy, the sense of community, and the welcoming atmosphere that made this event truly special.
SpyGlass Pharma
I had the honor of participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for SpyGlass Pharma’s new 33,000-square-foot headquarters alongside CEO Patrick Mooney and COO James Dennewill. This exciting milestone signals a new chapter as SpyGlass prepares to expand, introduce its first long-acting drug-delivery product, and advance its ophthalmology pipeline. The expanded R&D space underscores our community’s growing reputation as a global hub for life sciences, innovation, and high-quality jobs. Congratulations to the entire SpyGlass Pharma team on this remarkable achievement.
Notable Project: Los Olivos Phase 2
Los Olivos Phase 2 (Promenade Village Apartments) is shaping up! Covering 188 acres, it will include new apartments, condominiums, a 12.5-acre Community Park, a 5.26-acre neighborhood park, trails, and improved connections. With sports fields, pickleball courts, playgrounds, and community amenities, it offers residents more ways to live, play, and connect.
