WILDFIRE READY IRVINE: PROTECTING OUR HOMES AND COMMUNITY

The City of Irvine and the Orange County Fire Authority do a great job leading wildfire preparedness efforts, but staying wildfire-ready is a year-round effort. With risks present 24/7, it’s essential that all of us stay vigilant, take steps to harden our homes, and stay prepared as a community.

Join us as Mayor Larry Agran, Division Chief Nick Freeman, and Orange County Fire Authority Fire Prevention Specialists share the latest information on wildfire risks, home hardening strategies, defensible landscaping, and Wildfire Home Risk Assessments.

This is a continuation of community efforts to raise awareness and preparedness, providing updated insights and practical tips to help residents strengthen their homes and improve community resilience. With Irvine’s proximity to open space and recent wildfire activity, understanding wildfire preparedness has never been more critical.
